Mesopotamian Law

What I have read is the "Code of Hammurabi". This explain the rules of punishments that people would have to do because of there wrong doings. This was the way the Mesopotamian thought was the way life should be.

I thought that it was reasonable the way that Hammurabi came up with rules for everyone to go by. Everyone gets punished for what they do. Some of the punishments were not called for but some people have to pay the price for what they do.

There civilization was organized and set well in order for people who did wrong. There civilization believed that if you do something wrong you will be punished for the wrong you do.

What do I think of Civilization

What I think civilization is, is when when a certain group of people establish rules and regulations that make there culture unique. What makes a person civilized? When that person lives within the group and express themselves the way the culture is portrait. Like in Africa there people sing songs and dance around a fire for praise when it rains. Civilization has different ways of being explain, but that is what I think of civilization.
